How it works
- Paste the page's HTML source (right-click → View page source, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C) — or enter a URL and we'll attempt a direct fetch.
- We parse the document in your browser and extract every SEO-relevant tag: title, meta description, robots, canonical, hreflang, Open Graph, Twitter Cards, viewport, charset, theme-color, and JSON-LD schema.
- Each tag gets a status badge (present, missing, or too long), its raw value, and a one-click copy button.
- Missing or problematic tags get concrete fix suggestions so you can improve the page immediately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does URL fetching fail sometimes?
Browsers block cross-site page reads (CORS) for security — most websites don't allow other sites to fetch their HTML. That's why pasting the page source is the reliable method: open the page, press Ctrl+U (View Source), copy everything, and paste it above.
What is the ideal title tag length?
Keep titles around 50–60 characters (roughly 580 pixels). Google truncates longer titles in search results. Our analyzer shows both character count and an estimated pixel width.
What is the ideal meta description length?
Aim for 120–160 characters. Google typically shows up to ~160 characters in the snippet. Longer descriptions get cut off with an ellipsis.
Do Open Graph tags affect SEO?
Not directly — but they control how your page looks when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack, and Discord. Good OG tags (title, description, image) increase click-through from social shares, which drives traffic.
Why is my data private?
All analysis happens locally in your browser with JavaScript. Your pasted HTML is never uploaded to any server.
